CSR Corporate Social Responsibility

Issues concerning Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) have largely emerged in the last years.

Economic globalization and some of the latest scandals, from Enron on, have focused attention on CSR’s themes and people show more awareness about environment, business ethics and corporate governance.

CSR policies need to involve all stakeholders inside and outside the enterprise, as it is clear in a different definition of Corporate Social Responsibility: Corporate Citizenship.

At the same time, Socially Responsible Investment (SRI) become more important, as they can influence social, environmental and ethical strategies of industries.
